RightingFinance submits comments on ‘vulture funds’ and human rights report

The UN Human Rights Council Advisory Committee has unveiled its “Draft Progress Report on the activities of vulture funds and the impact on human rights.” The report is being produced following up on a resolution of last year in which the Human Rights Council pronounced itself on the effects of vulture funds’ activities on human rights. Therein, the body requested that the Advisory Committee “prepare a research-based report on the activities of vulture funds and the impact on human rights.”

RightingFinance Initiative commended the draft report, and offered a number of comments.
