On October 14, 2013, Spanish organization ALBOAN convened a workshop on Fiscal Policy and Human Rights.
For participation in this forum, ALBOAN identified experts who could contribute data and analysis on the debate on fiscal policy and its impacts on human rights protection in Spain.
At the consultation, a triple perspective was proposed:
Characteristics of the tax system and recent reforms
Their relations with human rights
The results were submitted as an input to the Consultation on the issue of Fiscal policy and human rights launched by the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and Extreme Poverty, Ms Magdalena Sepulveda Carmona.
